So I've posted the address to my sketch blog. Recently I have uploaded some more sketchs and paintings, along with re-vamping the whole layout and colors.
Hopefully I'll keep up with the sketchs on there seeing as I feel I should only be putting up finished artwork on DA.

If you haven't seen any updates from me and am wondering where I have gone go check out my SKETCH BLOG!

Trying to complete full on illustrations is hard right now seeing as I have no motivation and am working full time. Since I don't have a lot of time to spare I've been doing sketchs during my ten minute breaks and during my lunch times at work so hopefully I'll keep uploading my drawings and ideas in my sketch blog at least.

Besides that, if you want to talk or anything like that just drop me a note or comment! I love hearing from people!

Hellboy 2

Okay, fast entry!
So I went and saw Hellboy 2 about twice this last week...yes, I think it was that good! I'm not usually easily impressed with movies but I have to say, this one was awesome in every aspect...except that I thought the Prince had a point as far as humans breaking their contract and a balance needed to be remade...I was kinda on his side the whole time.
The fighting sequences were AMAZING, the creature designs EXTRODINARY, and acting PERFECT, and the humor was HILARIOUS! The only thing that bothered me was some of the swearing, but thats 'cus I don't care so much for swearing. Besides that, no naked chicks, no crude humor, NOTHING! It was just sorta dark and violent, but hardly any blood too!
I highly suggest seeing it!

Okay, done with that. I'm still open to commissions, if you are interested please leave a note or e-mail me!

Love ya all!

Open to Commissions!

Hi guys,
So I didn't win the scholarship, but it was my first time trying one. Hopefully I'll find some more to try out for in the future.
I only have a figure drawing class here at college right now and I'm kinda bored/ready to do some illustrations. For some reason I've been wanting to do anthros/furries again (probably 'cus I went and looked at Tracy Butler's artwork, I've watched her stuff for years...).
I kinda miss the old artwork I used to do, but don't worry, I wont be giving up people and fantasy stuff any time soon either!
I've been needing some inspiration to do more fun, finished illustrations and character stuff but really haven't been happy doing my own characters or story art.
I think its time to open up commissions again!

So yeah, I'm not sure what people are willing to pay me for my art so I'm open to debate on pricing right now.
I was thinking about starting my plain pencil character drawings at about $15
I can do just about anything as far as fantasy, realistic...no mecha stuff though...I suck at that stuff.
Animals, people, backgrounds, made up wonky stuff that really has no catagory; yeah, just about anything. Maybe I should put up some sort of pricing guide and info. Yeah, that would probably be best.
If you're interested in commissioning me just drop me a note or e-mail and I'll be glad to talk it out with you!

Besides that stuff, life is peachy, almost done with this year of college, and...ummm...I'm addicted to Freecell, minesweeper, and hearts...yeah, thats about it.

Bye!

Hi guys!
So I've never been outside of the USA before and I'm getting close to graduating from college. The school has a program thats going to Britain next summer and I'm going to work off my butt, but I'll still need enough money to get me through the winter semester and pay for the summer.
Theres a scholarship through a webpage called Find Your Art School. The grand prize is $2500 and I've submitted four pieces. If you could go check them out and vote on them I would be very happy! It would get me that much closer to earning the money I need.
PLEASE VOTE!!!

I'm sorta sickly at the moment. 'been coughen up junk for the last several days, which sucks. But at least its given me some time to work on a bit of artwork. I've updated a few things in my scraps section along with a preview of my next piece to be finished.
My artwork hasn't been coming along very well...I keep feeling like I'm WAY behind again, especially since this is my fourth year in college. My anatomy is always off-but I'm starting to care less about that- and I'm not very good at color or backgrounds...especially backgrounds. I keep wanting to go with my own style, which is a bit more of what my gallery here on DA is filled with, but my professors don't care much for it, so instead I want to go way realistic, almost like fine art realistic, then my professors really crash down on me, and my portfolio looks way scattered. URGH! This is really frustrating, but I think I found a middle ground; during this summer and probably the next several semestars-and I do mean several- I'm just going to take oil painting and figure drawing classes. I'll get better at painting traditionally, creating backgrounds, and painting people correctely while perfecting my anatomy in figure drawing...then I'll try illustrating again.
My advisor talked to me last year about weither I should be an illustrator or a fine artist. I have to say, I like both, and looking at my DA gallery you'd probably never guess that I like doing landscapes and painting people with oils, but I enjoy movement and extreme colors too much to become some fine artist! I really like to do stock photography and I want to be able to paint from the photos I've taken, but they don't really fit into fine art, and I'd rather be able to jump between the two anyways; illustration and fine art.
Character designing is something else that I love to do, and I cant really do that in fine art, but I hate watching my stuff get slammed and rejected all the time.
Hopefully my plan works out. I don't know when I'll graduate, but when I do I'll be more then ready to go to work in the world...or so I hope.

Um...sorry about the gibberish.
Well, besides that stuff I'm going to disneyland during the week in between semesters! My roommates are coming too! I'm really excited and I hope my mom has a good birthday there!
I'll make sure to take some pictures and upload them onto my photo stock account here on DA([link]).
I need to go update other stuff now.
Have a good week everyone!
